Goals

As Bates Association members, we commit to the following:

A.	To search and compile accurate genealogical records of our ancestors.

B.	To carefully research and prepare biographical and historical records of our ancestors.

C.	To compile and maintain the above information on a computer database.

D. To share information with our members and with other interested parties at a minimal cost.

E. To publish an association bulletin on a quarterly basis

F.	To maintain an up-to-date membership directory.

G.	To hold annual association reunions which will provide research and educational opportunities as well as a sharing of records and ideas.

H.	To maintain a library of appropriate books and other research materials and make their contents available to our members.
